Where do appointments take place?
Appointments are conducted virutally through a HIPPA compliant audio/video platform for patients in Massachusetts.
What types of patients do you work with?
I see men and women, aged 18 and older. Commonly treated concerns include: depression, anxiety, trauma, perinatal mental health, ADHD, panic, bipoar II, insomnia, and more.
At this time, I do not treat children or adolescents.
Do you provide therapy?
I recommend that all patients establish with a licensed therapist such as LMHC, LCSW, PsyD, etc. for regular therapy.
Are there any services that you do NOT provide?
-Services to those under the age of 18.
-Emergency Psychiatric Services
-Treatment for active substance use detox
-Treatment for Opiod Use Disorder with MAT
-Stand alone therapy services
Are you a psychiatrst or MD?
No. I am an Advanced Practice Registered nurse, also known as a Nurse Practitioner. Nurse Practitioners are Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (or better known as a Nurse Practitioners). I have Full Practice Authority (FPA) with the State of MA, meaning based on experience, years worked and continuing education, a collaborating physician is not needed to oversee my care.
What are your credentials?
I hold a Masters of Science degree in Nursing from MCPHS University.
I am a nurse practitioner licensed in the state of MA and CT.
I am certified by the AANP as a Family Nurse Practitioner and by the ANCC as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
I hold a certification from Mass. General Hospital in Nutritional Psychiatry.
